Your profile, your call
Every new account starts Private. You choose if and when your profile becomes public — nothing is shared for you.
Cookbooks you decide to share
Cookbooks are private by default. Turning on a share link is always a deliberate action, and you can switch it off again.
Following is just social
Following a cook never unlocks their private recipes or a paid feature. It simply keeps you close to what they're cooking.
Search is for members
Finding cooks by name is available once you're signed in, so members aren't searchable by anonymous visitors.
