Terms of Use

Pantry Play ("Pantry Play," "we," "us," or "our") operates https://pantryplay.io. Pantry Play is a product of Alaine Kristina Limjoco LLC, the legal entity you are contracting with, and "you" means the person using the site. By creating an account or continuing to use Pantry Play, you agree to these terms.

You need to be at least 13 to use Pantry Play, and old enough to enter a contract where you live — if you are under the age of majority, you may only use Pantry Play with a parent or guardian's permission. If you are signing up for an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it.

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details, for keeping your password private, and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us at hello@pantryplay.io if you think your account has been used without your permission.

• Every account has a display name and a unique @username. Usernames are 3–24 characters using letters, numbers, periods or underscores, and uniqueness is case-insensitive.
• Some usernames are reserved for Pantry Play, for safety, or to prevent confusion, and cannot be claimed.
• Don't impersonate another person, cook or brand, and don't register usernames in bulk, to resell, or to squat on someone else's name.
• Username changes are limited and a released username rests for up to 90 days before anyone can take it.
• We may reclaim, rename or suspend a username that breaks these rules or infringes someone's rights.

Profiles start Private and cookbooks start private. A private profile shows only your display name, username and avatar; the rest is hidden from other members and from logged-out visitors. Making a profile Public or turning on a cookbook share link is a deliberate choice you can reverse at any time. Sharing never overrides the visibility or access rules of the individual recipes inside a cookbook.

You keep ownership of the recipes, photographs, comments and other content you create. Pantry Play's own recipes and the Recipe Map format, software, artwork and branding remain ours, and Pantry Play recipes stay attributed to Pantry Play. Saving a recipe or adding it to a cookbook never transfers ownership or changes attribution.

By posting or sharing content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt for display purposes (such as resizing images) and display that content, solely so we can operate Pantry Play and show your content to the people you shared it with. This licence exists only to run the service — we don't claim ownership. It ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies already shared with others or held in routine backups until those age out.

You confirm you have the right to post what you upload and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.

• Use Pantry Play for personal, non-commercial cooking and recipe organisation.
• Don't scrape, bulk-copy, resell or redistribute Pantry Play content.
• Don't reverse engineer the service or circumvent technical limits.
• Don't interfere with the service, other members' accounts, or the security of the site — no malware, probing or automated abuse.
• Don't attempt to bypass Free, Premium, recipe or cookbook access rules.
• Follow the Community Guidelines, which form part of these terms.

• Content you do not have the right to post, including copied recipes and images.
• Impersonation of another person or brand.
• Harassment, threats or targeting of other members.
• Spam, scams, fraud or deliberately misleading content.
• Someone else's private personal information.
• Dangerous, illegal or intentionally harmful instructions.
• Sexual content involving minors, or content that exploits or endangers anyone.

We may review reported content and may remove content, limit features, restrict, suspend or close an account when these terms or the Community Guidelines are broken, when a payment fails or is reversed, or when it is necessary to protect the service, its members or someone's safety. Where it is reasonable to do so, we'll tell you why and you can reply to hello@pantryplay.io to ask us to look again.

You can stop using Pantry Play at any time, and can ask us to delete your account at hello@pantryplay.io. Sections that by their nature should continue — your content licence for copies already shared, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law and these general clauses — survive termination.

• Recipes, timings and substitutions may not produce identical results in your kitchen — equipment, ingredients, altitude and technique vary.
• You are responsible for checking allergens and dietary restrictions, the condition and freshness of your ingredients, safe internal temperatures and general food safety.
• Nutrition information, where shown, is an estimate and not a guarantee.
• Pantry Play is not medical, nutritional or professional health advice.
• Product availability, packaging and formulations change; always read the label yourself when allergens or dietary restrictions matter.

Pantry Play links to third-party retailers and services we don't control, and we're not responsible for their content, products, prices or practices. Some links are affiliate links, and some content may be sponsored, gifted or part of a paid partnership — these are disclosed near the relevant content.

A free account lets you browse, save recipes, create your own and organise cookbooks. Premium unlocks recipes and features marked Premium. Premium features may change, be added to or be removed as Pantry Play develops; we won't materially reduce what you paid for during a period you've already paid for.

• Current pricing: $2.99 per month, or $29.99 per year, plus any tax calculated at checkout.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price for the same period until you cancel.
• Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep Premium until the end of the period you already paid for, and nothing further is charged.
• Prices may change with advance notice; a change never affects a period you have already paid for.
• Complimentary Premium from an invitation code or a manual grant is not a paid recurring subscription: nothing renews, nothing is charged, and there is nothing to cancel.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax and cancellation mechanics are also covered by Paddle's Buyer Terms.

Manage or cancel your subscription with Manage subscription on your Profile, which opens Paddle's secure customer portal. Refunds are described in the Refund Policy, and step-by-step help lives on Subscription & Billing Help.

• Codes are personal, non-transferable, have no cash value and can't be combined unless we say so.
• A code only applies to the plan and period it was issued for, and may expire or run out of uses.
• We may modify, suspend or revoke code-based access where a code is shared publicly without permission, used fraudulently, redeemed through duplicate or automated accounts, or otherwise misused.

If you believe content on Pantry Play infringes your copyright, email hello@pantryplay.io with: your name and contact details, identification of the work, the URL or enough detail to find the content, a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorised, a statement that the information is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them, and your signature (typed is fine).

We review every report and remove infringing content where appropriate, and we may terminate the accounts of repeat infringers. Pantry Play has not registered a designated DMCA agent with the U.S. Copyright Office and makes no claim to statutory safe-harbour protection; this is simply our reporting route, and it works.

Pantry Play is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or that content will always be accurate.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pantry Play is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to Pantry Play is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50.

Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify and hold Pantry Play harmless from claims, damages and reasonable costs arising from content you post, your misuse of Pantry Play, or your breach of these terms or of someone else's rights.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and the state and federal courts located in California have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence, or of the right to bring proceedings where those laws allow. Let's try to sort things out by email first — hello@pantryplay.io.

• Changes: we may update these terms; the effective date at the top always shows the current version, and we'll give notice in the app or by email before material changes take effect. Continuing to use Pantry Play after that means you accept them.
• Severability: if any provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
• Waiver: not enforcing a provision straight away doesn't waive our right to enforce it later.
• Assignment: you may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in a merger, acquisition or sale of the business.
• Entire agreement: these terms, together with the Community Guidelines, Privacy Policy, Refund Policy are the whole agreement between us about Pantry Play.
• Force majeure: neither of us is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control.
